MYTH - Hephaestus
Hephaestus [Vulcan] is a son of Zeus and Hera. He was born lame and ugly, and therefore was thrown from Olympus by his mother at sea (other versions say that Ivy did not do it, but Zeus). The water nymph Thetis, however, the thought and shelter, have mercy, and cared for him. When grown, so has he had great skills.
